Darrel F. Parish graduated from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture in 1972 and the College of Law in 1975. He handles litigation and real estate and business transactions. Darrel was raised on a farm near Harristown, Illinois, and he served as Chairman of the Ag Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association in 2004 and 2005. He is married to Joanna Parish, a Guidance Counselor at MacArthur High School.

 

Linda M. Castleman has a degree in Education from the University of Illinois. She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Law in 1977, and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. She handles litigation and contracts, including disputes and negotiations. She is a Pawnee native. She is married to Dr. Michael Zia.

 

We are licensed to appear in all Illinois courts, including State courts and Federal courts, the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

 

Our office is located in downtown Decatur, in Macon County, Illinois, but we have recently handled cases in courts in Champaign, Christian, Coles, DeWitt, Logan, McLean, Moultrie, Piatt, Sangamon and Shelby Counties.

 

Our practice is concentrated in representing clients in civil cases. We handle cases involving injuries, insurance claims, estates, wills and trusts and real estate. Here are some examples of the kinds of cases we have handled:

-- Represented numerous individuals in making estate plans, and prepared wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
